1951 PEUGEOT PH60 (belgian version)

size: adult (650B wheels)

condition: this Peugeot is a bit special and differs from the PH60 present in the French catalog: it was manufactured for the Belgian market (Reynolds 531 tubes). Peugeot France supplied the frame with specifics requested for the Belgian market (cleat on the left fork for the tax plate, luggage rack welded to the seat stays for example). The bikes were assembled with components available on the Belgian market by Léon Vanderhuste in Dion-le-Mont in Brabant Wallon. (source Vincent Beyaert). In very good condition, the bike has been cleaned and overhauled.

Non-exhaustive list of components:
- Weinmann 650 rims
- Edco hubs
- Soubitez lighth
- Record stem
- Tigra handlebars
- VDO counter
- Huret suicide front derailleur
- Simplex rear derailleur
- Peugeot crankset
- Cyclo chainring
- pedals? (made in Germany)
- Weinmann brakes
- Mafac levers

Funny detail, the frame purchase order was discovered in the seat tube during disassembly and cleaning. It is dated precisely 4/8/51. The bicycle has just celebrated its 70th anniversary!
